TEACHING

In teaching music, I've established a few goals both for myself, and for my students. The first and most important is to cultivate a lifelong appreciation for music and musicians, regardless of whether or not they decide to pursue music as a career. The second is to develop a meaningful rapport and safe learning environment. The final goal is to establish the skills necessary for the student to be confident in their understanding of fundamentals and musicianship.

Private Lessons in Trumpet (Preparation for auditions and competitions, weekly study)
Group Lessons in Trumpet (Preparation for solo and ensemble, weekly study)
Small Ensemble Coachings
Sectional Instruction (Marching band, Concert band, etc.)
Tutoring in Basic Music Theory

RATES

Private Lessons: $50 for one hour
Group Lessons: $25 per person for one hour
Small Ensemble Coachings: $50 for one hour for groups of 5 or less, $5 for each additional person per hour
Sectional Instruction: $50 for one hour
Tutoring in Basic Music Theory: $20 for one hour
Travel to a location, add $5

POLICIES

For regular weekly lessons, please pay tuition at the beginning of each month
If you need to reschedule, except for in the case of emergencies, give 48 hours notice
Cancelled lessons will not be rescheduled unless given 48 hours notice
